The mission of YINI
The mission for YINI is to promote and advance knowledge and practice on healthy sustainable diets and the importance of all food groups with a focus on fermented dairy and plant-based alternatives to meet nutritional needs across the lifespan, while respecting local food cultures, affordability, and accessibility.
To achieve this mission, YINI has established strategic activities:
- To identify, review and promote scientific research on healthy sustainable diets via the organization of symposia in international corvesses, the publication of scientific articles and grand program
- To broadly disseminate knowledge on healthy sustainable diets via a digital ecosystem including a website and Social media (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn), scientific conferences, scientific publications, material such as infographics, handouts, e-learnings.
- To facilitate discussion & partnering with health stakeholders considering aspects of cultural competency via social interactions, actively engaging with a dynamic community in digital events and educational partnership and engagernent with established regional groups or local taskforces.
